I am using a 14db backfire antenna with the WET11 v2. My tests have
all been positive so far. Just be aware of the gender on your
connections :)
The AP was at less than 5% without the antenna, plus I could see about
20 access points from my rooftop. The directional antenna got the
signal strength to around 65% with only three access points visible.
Now I just need to figure out how to use TEQL or ECMP routing to
integrate public wireless into my building-wide network. (Anyone done
this here?)
