That's pretty impressive. Too bad it takes over a minute for a full rotation
though. Of course if price were no object, I would recommend a used CIWS
mount like the ones found on the Phalanx system

Since it's fast enough to whip around and kill incoming missiles, you'd
almost think it could be used to route packets between 2 remote AP's with
just one antenna. Heh heh.. Haven't seen them on Ebay yet though(yet).

Seriously though, since a wifi radio and antenna combo _is_ essentially a
radar system, it wouldn't take much to develop software to aim the mount
based on RSSI. In fact, I have some C++ libs for Windows I developed for
another project that could be easily adapted for this purpose. If anyone is
interested in this, let me know..
