hey all,
although i'm not new to the world of rf (kf4mkt, hi!), i was slow to adopt
wifi. i'm interested in linking two sites together using a wap11,
essentially i'd like something that looks like this:

[networkA]--[ap] <--wireless--> [wap11]--[networkB]

i assume i'd use bridging mode to accomplish this? additionally, does the
disclaimer that the wap11 will ONLY bridge to other wap11's always hold
true? i'm not sure what hardware will be running on the remote end of the
wireless link, but for the sake of argument i'll assume it's non-wap11.

thanks,

Yes, you can only bridge a wap11 to another wap11. You would probably want a wet11, I believe those will work with non linksys APs.
