I've got a community access wireless net (802.11b) at the Berkeley Marina. Back in August when I was setting up, I noticed I could get BARWN signals coming from across the Bay with a 15db gain sector. (probably the yerba buena island radio)
So, I'm wondering what sort of backbone bandwidth BARWN has, and if they are willing to allow other networks to bridge/route to them? I read their white paper, but I'm not sure about the scope of their operation.
