Sort of. If you can dedicate a spare computer, the easiest route is to get
a hold of the CD that installs RoofNet:
http://www.pdos.lcs.mit.edu/grid/software.html or follow the instructions
on that site to download the code and compile it.

I am almost done on a project based on the above referenced code, that
will boot and run off of a single floppy. Again it will require its own
computer, but that computer need not be very powerful, a Pentium 75 should
do.

I having working code that runs on a general purpose desktop computer
running Debian (Linux) 3.0. I may make that available, once I figure out
how one gets kernel patches into Debian in a reasonable, smooth way.

Not that I know of, and probably not for a while: Mesh networking requires
some low-level mucking about in the kernel, and without source code that's
very difficult. Even if I were to put myself in danger by looking at that
recently leaked Microsoft Source Code ;)

Mesh Networks are really cutting-edge technology, and you can bleed a
little if you aren't up to the task of recompiling a kernel. If this is
for a commercial purpose and you need some consultants, feel free to
contact me via email.
