Re the comments about cell phones and 300mw cards, the highest >>any<< handheld celll phone is running is at 600mw, not 3000!
The bag phones of yesteryear were 3 watt analog jobs. Today, you are with much, much lower power -- again, 600mw max, IIRC. And CDMA phones rarely even use anything near their max power.
I wouldn't worry about a 400 milliwatt wireless card because it's still less than a cell phone, but not 1/10 as suggested earlier.
