As I'm sure many of you know, Sprint Broadband long ago decided that
they would stop taking new subscriptions for their wireless service. I
think it may not be operational at all any longer, and at last look most
of the people in the Newark area who had Sprint's service bailed on
their horrible network and picked up Cable or DSL Internet service.
When they asked about returning the equipment, Sprint said "don't
bother".

I'm trying to figure out what to do with this equipment. I don't know
much about it, but it seems the system that Sprint uses is actually up
for grabs on Ebay:

Unfortunately, I only have the subscriber-side hardware, so setting up
my own private network seems a little out of the question. I am
wondering, however, if anybody has found a good use for the Transceivers
or Modems?
