LOL, yah, I've got a cell phone here, and the service is great. It's crazy how technology still finds its way into the nooks and crannies of the most screwed up places on earth. Are there any wireless ISP's in Baghdad you know of? We're still searching for a Satellite provider too, seems they are all afraid of making money. They move like molasses in January (to quote my Mother).

He's been living in Baghdad outside the Green Zone for a year now. And this has got to be one of my favorite all time install photos:

It's a shapshot taken of his employees as they install a wireless ISP in Mosul. The SEG on his face as they cling atop a tower (no OSHA climbing regs!) with the rural town and mosque in the background is great!
