Just an update on Thurs' BAWUG meeting at Intel, where we'll dig deep into WiMax:
- Please NOTE THE CORRECTED ADDRESS-- previous info was slightly inaccurate. The correct street address is: SC-12 Auditorium, 3600 Juliette Lane, Santa Clara, CA 95054 Map and directions: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&address=3600+Juliette+Lane+&city =Santa+Clara&state=CA&zipcode=95054 - PLEASE RSVP NOW!! We really need to get a reasonably good count of who's coming, plus we've just been informed that everyone will need to sign in and get a badge, especially due to code orange-type reasons. Your advance rsvp will greatly aid this procedure. RSVP's should be emailed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - A cold deli buffet will be served, starting at 6pm. Thanks Intel! (Food planning is another reason we'd appreciate your rsvp). - Everyone needs to sign-in with security at the entrance to SC12. Large bags may be searched. - Wi-fi access: unfortunately, it's way too much hassle to deal w/ firewall issues, etc to provide public net access. So you'll just have to participate more in the discussion instead. ;) - Webcast/IRC: we're still working on details on this. Stay tuned for if and how-to.
