-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've got a 2.6 WAP11, which with a waveguide antenna is *just* out of reach of the repeater I'm trying to hit.
But when I turn off link diversity and pick only the left or right antenna I get signal. The web interface doesn't let me change this, but ap-config does. Problem is: the settings don't get saved! When the thing reboots, it's back to both antennas. I'm going to try some higher-gain antennas too, but it bothers me that I can't save the setting into NVRAM/flash. Am I missing something here? Is the problem ap-config, or does the WAP11 simply not save this stuff? Also, I tried a few hacks to get 100mW out of the thing (setting all to 0, setting all to 4f, etc). None seemed to have any effect. Am I missing something here too? - -ken - -- - --------------- The world's most affordable web hosting. http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBd+jKe8HF+6xeOIcRAlloAKCkxlWFncSCtyT8CwtmFDnfkjK08wCfRttd YK4CMXkBmfEmxED9Pwh9Scc= =npBQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ BAWUG's general wireless chat mailing list [unsubscribe] http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
