I really like the idea of getting together and sharing tips/tricks/techniques. 
(Seattle Wireless calls them "HackNights." PersonalTelco calls them 
"Installfests", "Newbie Workshops", and "play days.") I've always found that 
a whole'lot more learning goes on at these get-togethers.
