My plans have changed and I'm now able to attend (yay).

Crispin, coming from downtown SF (1st or 4th at Mission), I would take
BART. Walk Northwest on either 1st or 4th until you get to Market
street (1 block). If you are at 1st street, the nearest BART station
is the Embarcadero Station. Head Northeast (right) on Market:

Powell Street Station is on Market between 4th and 5th. From 4th and
Market, head Southwest on Market (left):

Take Bart to the "24th Street Mission Station", leave the station and
head West on 24th. Muddy's is on the Southwest corner of 24th and
Valencia.

See you there.

Eric.
