a hypothetical:
Suppose you have a bridge on the roof with an antenna connected to it, perhaps with some kind of directional rotor. From the bridge to a computer inside the house is a wired ethernet connection. (And there are no laptops to take to the roof.)
Is it possible somehow to do a site survey for wireless networks in the area - using the bridge?
All I've ever seen is the site survey utilities that run via a wireless card on a laptop.
Alternatively would it be necessary to use a wireless card on a board to do this instead of the bridge?
Thanks, Kent
