As far as I understand it depends on the signal levels.

If I put a duplex combiner where each end has, lets say, 30 dB attentuators
it will give me a total loss of 60 dB between the two radios. I guess this
is more than if I put two APs next to each other ?

Any one else that has an opinion ?

One antenna can't used by two radio, because their power can be damage each
other.
