Chris,
I'd check with the cable manufacturer on that question. Plenum cable is
designed to NOT give off toxic gases into a breathing-air plenum in case
of a fire. I'm not sure this means that the cable will continue to
survive and perform when intentionally exposed to high temperatures. You
may find that there is a high-temp cable version that is more
appropriate. It's also possible that standard cable might have a
temperature rating high enough for your use considering that the dryer
vent isn't carrying plenum air that anyone would be breathing.
