Jeff, Aperto implements the 802.16 MAC, which we all know gets brutalized in UL. In fact, it is a principal reason major vendors are not offering UL WiMAX today and it is THE reason the IEEE created the 802.16h task group to come up with a solution that fixes the .16 problem in shared spectrum.
