Here is another WISP operator who has made the decision join and to help
make WISPA the place where WISPs pull together to form our industry.
Congratulations for this step for helping us all to reach our goals as
an industry. We appreciate all the WISPs who have made this step and
look forward to seeing our power in numbers working together to achieve
our goals. Welcome Mark McElvy of Accubak Data Systems in Salem,
Missouri. This is yet another husband and wife team. I personally know
Salem, Missouri well as it is the last stop on my way to the beautiful
Current River which I canoe every July. Welcome Mark and wife!
AccuBak Data Systems, Inc. was originally formed, in Houston Texas 1996,
as a network consulting and offsite backup service for small and medium
size businesses. We moved to the rural town of Salem, MO in the fall of
1999. Here we continued our backup service and business network
consulting. In 2003 we expanded into nationwide dialup and satellite
broadband. Finally in October of 2005, we started offering 2.4GHz
wireless to residential and small business customers. Working as a
husband and wife team taking these baby steps to a growing business has
been quite an adventure. Learning all the ins and outs of the Wireless
industry is definitely proving to be a challenge, but we are looking
forward WISPA making that a little easier on us. And of course, if
anyone is interested in having us assist them with remote backups, we
would be happy to assist.
