We drill through the back metal case, and silicone really well.
Pac Wireless's site may have had a document suggesting a good way to
waterproof.
But my answer was to buy Teletronics, Acconet, or MTI panels, that have a
may to properly mount a backplane.
In msot cases I'd rather pay than cut corners.

Subject: [WISPA] Mikrotik RB532A/Rootenna 5.8GHz Mounting
Anyone got a place to buy a mounting setup (plate, standoffs, etc) for a
Mikrotik RB532A going inside a 5.8GHz Rootenna (R2T58-24)? Are we just
putting tape-backed standoffs on these?
Thanks.
