I'll also make the one we are using available for $50 should someone want it.

There is a lot of talk about CALEA.
Compliance is due May 14.

As I have written here
(http://radinfo.blogspot.com/2007/05/calea-compliance-plan.html)
there are 3 parts to compliance:
1) The Plan - the form to be filed by May 14
2) The ability to Intercept (hardware capability)
3) The data formatting & VPN or FTP to the LEA

What you should be focusing on is the Compliance Plan, which the FCC calls
System Security Integrity Plans. (It was due in March, but yours better be
filed by May 14).

It includes your planning to comply with a subpoena.
The Who, What, Where, When, and How.
This is probably as important as the hardware.

A plan template is available for $49 that you can modify for your use.

There has been much speculation and some misinformation about CALEA. I would
suggest that people discuss their CALEA plans with an Attorney like Kris
Twomey. (Attorney Kris Twomey is offering a simple flat rate $250 SSI manual
that can be modified and filed on their behalf.)
