We have the exact same generator as well - - only a 16KW - - we too ordered it from Lowes and it was $2900.00 with a $200.00 rebate. It was drop shipped to the NOC - - -and no - - - - we haven't had a single power outage either since we bought and installed it 8 months ago :-)
I hear it fire up and run on occasions, but I am still waiting to see it fire up when it really counts.
