You may one day work on an installation that is co-located with an XM radio
or Sirius Transmitter.

Yes, just like "Skytel", the satellite aspect is highly overrated- most
urban markets are served by rooftop and tower top repeaters.

I have some precautions for you if XM or Sirius is nearby.

            XM Radio Frequency: 2332.5-2345 MHz

To accomplish this XM-Radio alone has set up about 1,500
high-power terrestrial repeaters.

Each market typically has dual repeaters at 2337.485 MHz and
2340.015 MHz.

CAUTION: STAY CLEAR OF XM-RADIO & SIRIUS TRANSMIT ANTENNAS

The radiation level in an operational system is similar to that
of a MICROWAVE OVEN!

Avoid the main lobe while servicing equipment on your tower.

I believe I have posted photos of their behemoth feed lines and waveguides
