I have only used the native scheduler that comes with the software. The scheduler could be improved - - like having a password on it to prevent changes without authorization.
That is the only time we have had any sort of problem - -was when someone (no one ever knows who) changes the files that we had backing up. I consider that OE (operator error) problems because we can point to the right files, hit "run now" and it goes back to doing what it was supposed to do. I also warn the agencies to periodically check to make sure that it is backing uop the correct files. I always name the profile "choose this one" :-) with their only other choice as "default."
