We've done quite a bit of PMP from fixed offshore platforms to moving vessels, but nothing at the ranges you are looking for. In this app, VSAT was also the backhaul. I recall that the network was built for ranges not exceeding about 10 km. For your application, you will likely need VSAT on the vessels themselves.
