I run PPPoE on my ROS AP's. All are stable and trouble free except one. The few customers will be unable to connect, when I look at the AP, the radio is registered and the PPPoE is connected but there will no route for the connection. We are running OSPF. If I disconnect the PPPoE session it will reconnect and all is well for a while.
