Ah yes. The GIS data sets are awesome. I have been playing around with them. I'll probably be doing some blog posts on the subject soon. I'm thinking of taking LA County base parcel data, then overlaying it with the FCC Antenna Structure Registration data as well as various other FCC data bits, and throwing in economic/population density data and wigle.net data as well.
