I'd be asking why in the heck, he'd still want to climb, after he lost his 
brother climbing.
Isn't there a clause to protect Parents from loosing all their children, by 
sending all of them to war. (reference: Private Ryan)
I see it no different in the Climbing business.
I could also see other risks. This guy probably now knows all about OSHA, 
the Law, and how to sue people.
You better make sure your proceedures are squeaky clean. (not that they 
wouldn;t be already).

My recommendation is to clearly qualify whether you think he's a responsible 
party, and why he wants to still climb.
If he has a skill set you need, and you trust his integrity, then go for it.
