I have a high-level friend within Marsh McLennan, and eventually got to their director of assn. marketing; they should finally have a conference call with Rick Harnish and a few other members next week. I positioned it with Marsh as a large number of companies that could inevitably take advantage of a compelling offer from a large insurer.
Let's see if Rick and the team can do any good in negotiating something of interest. Marsh is also going to put a proposal in front of FISPA as well. I don't know if that will help you (and others), but I'm sure that Rick will keep you posted on progress or an offer to members.
