Comments:

1. or at least a paid admin staff.

2. If funds allow for this and that would allow WISPA to be more
effective / get more members to help offset this cost.

3. If any of the current board members do not have the time to do
this, then maybe you need to look at doing this.

4. Yes, but not right now. We need to raise fees and kind of put the
house in order before we do.

5. I think we could get someone for $40k that does everything rather
than hire a company, but we should see what the difference is.

6. This is tough the job should not bet hire until very well defined

7. Are you to that point that you need one?

8. No someone to lobby or handle comments at the FCC, but someone to
manage the growth and day-to-day of the Org

9. I know it's a popular idea amongst a certain set of folks, but I
find it difficult to believe someone will be all that effective with our
organization right now. Two years from now I might have a different opinion

10. I think in order to really get the attention of the players when it
comes to lobbying you need a well organized, focused group that is strong in
leadership. All the current board members are doing a fantastic job but they
are not IMO able to focus completely on WISPA because they also have
businesses to run. Look at the NRA, I think that would be a real good
example.

11. I can't say

12. YES

13. Or a management company to do the same types of duties.

14. To the extent that an ED could relieve some of the workload of the
directors (day to day operations kinds of things) freeing the directors to
work more on policy/lobbying types of things, I think it would be good.

15. if necessary, but keep fees low for startups!

16. would need more information on the finances in order to see if ED can
be hired. Would be good to a paid employee to get stuff doe, but how much
would revenue have to increase to be able to pay for a quality person.

17. If this move were to cause better organization and a tighter focus, it
would well be worth it. WISPA seems to have a habit of barely keeping up
with deadlines and notifying people of upcoming stuff in a timely manner.

18. Maybe. Part time perhaps.

19. This has to be soon

20. only with definite board directed goals and objectives.

21. I don't have enough knowledge on the current board's ability to handle
the workload in order to comment on this question.

22. Possibly - After the job description is complete including the
expected increase in revenue that an ED could enable.

23. Don't know enough about WISPA to know if it needs a Executive
Director.
