Found the quote and it was actually for a 3U enclosure we were considering to have built for a specific application. Fortunately we found something suitable without going this route and the client was thrilled with our ingenuity.
The people at Protocase were responsive and helpful. In a pinch they really can help, but hold on to your arse regarding their pricing. They earn a handsome premium for their service. I am not aware of any other company that is able to turn around a custom enclosure as quickly as Protocase. If anyone knows of a less expensive source, please, do share.
