Yeah, I forgot to mention OpenDNS but you have to set up your router  
to block or redirect access to other DNS services. Otherwise they'll  
just go right around it.

Another thing about OpenDNS is you will have a record of what bad  
sites were attempted, but you can't tell which computer because it's  
on the other side of the NAT. Something like Untangle or Astaro will  
tell you who, what, where and when.
