Do they happen to have a managed switch or do you have a managed switch
you can temporarily put in to prove it is not your service? I would
check the error counters on the interface and be SURE it isn't wiring in
their facility. The best thing you can do to trouble-shoot is to break
everything down into small "systems" and test each piece until you find
the culprit.

I don't know how your wireless network is set up, but even if you are
using PPPoE, I am sure you set up the MTU to the correct number. It
could be that you need to change the MTU on the device, but it would
error every time, not intermittently.

You might put a static IP on their connection and get PingPlotter and
find out the packet loss at different times of the day to their exact
location and see if you see anything going on at the end of day.

Good luck,

Subject: [WISPA] Anyone have trouble with customers batching credit
cardpayments?

Hi,

We have a client who can't send his batched credit card payments. It's
sporadic - not every night, so we can pinpoint it to a definite problem
on our network. The credit card software company has upgraded the
software etc and says it's a problem with their Internet. Thought I
would see if anyone else has had an issue with this.

Thanks

Martha
