I've spent a lot of time working with the Proxim 5054 products that implement WORP, the protocol is TDM, it slices time slots for each subscriber unit connected to a base station. A base can act as subscriber or a base. It supports timeslot skipping if SU don't have traffic to send. I've had really good luck with these units.
