I helped a friend with a D-Link DIR-655 yesterday and was shocked/disgusted to find that although it HAD supported bridge mode in firmware 1.05, this feature was removed in 1.10+ and of course it wouldn't accept the older firmware as an upgrade. Must be some way but a $90 router is only worth so much tinkering.
