An update on this - they are aware of the problem with random recurring rebooting with version 3.4 but they are unable to duplicate it in the lab therefore they're having a hard time fixing what they can't see is broken. I detected a bit of a plea for sympathy (which I have) but at some point if it doesn't work I have to move on... to another firmware or a competitor's product.
