It's something like 54vdc. The transtector lighting arrestor they OEM is expensive, but worthwhile for the AUs or ptp links. Transtector will replace any damaged arrestors under warranty too. We usually get the ALPU ALVR from tessco. http://www.transtector.com/productdetail.aspx?item=1101-640
Lightning arrestors for 48v will not work. The Alvarion wiring scheme is a bit different than POE, so make sure the right pins are rated for the right voltages. Do keep the list posted if you find something that works well. We'd love to put lightning arrestors in more places if they were smaller and less expensive.
