I just tried it tiwh the Tiger2006 2nd edition and the program errors out when creating the kml for the Tract 2000 feature. I went back and got the original 2000 data (tracts are the same) and it worked fine. That data is availble at http://www.census.gov/geo/www/tiger/tigerua/ua_tgr2k.html.
