LOL, but actually you hit the nail on the head on that comment. No one can 
conculsively predict an unknown environment. The odds are 50/50 one will 
guess right.
In my mind thats the biggest advantage of Dual Pol sectors for towers, 
"insurance".  Pay an extra $300 bucks upfront, and guarantee that you dont 
have to pay $2000 later to re-climb the tower, and replace antenna, to 
correct a wrong guess. We also find it hard to teswt the results from remote 
potential CPE locations, while climbers are on the tower. Just not enough 
time. So much easier to do field survey testing the nxt day, and at that 
time select the polarity that is best.
