Exactly! You had how many people working on your project? What resources did you have available? Then Ubiquiti comes in and trumps it all! With that I'd just do a "wait and see" for what UBNT comes out with. I'm sure there isn't much they haven't been trying that we couldn't think of ourselves.
I'm sure even though you feel those 2 months were wasted that you got a lot of learning from it.
