Well, sounds like an upgrade opportunity for Dell and HP. HP sucks though because the firmware will not let you go buy a card and just pop it in. "Unauthorized wireless card fount in slot.... blah, blah, blah...." HP will only let you use a card you buy from them even if it's the same model and make card you got from elsewhere.
