Would they even work with a third party to do this?  I've heard or one or 
two companies doing it, but I think they left a sour taste in the cell 
carriers' mouths.  If I were them, I'd just build the wireless links myself. 
I think you'd have to have something exclusive like a fiber network for them 
to be interested.

That said, I'd be interested.  ;-)
