The Andrew way has always been wide mastic/coax seal/good electrical tape. The mastic keeps the coax seal out of the threads

This is something that needs to be done on top of a tower - need to replace a radio and would prefer to not have to bring the antenna down to do it and don't have another antenna that we could use to replace this one with.
