I have some customers laptops that have been here lately with the "Free Public WiFi" ssid on them. I know that this is a Microsoft screw up on the Zero Wireless Connections. I have made the stations so that they can only connect to a AP in the future. But the "Free Public WiFi" SSID still shows up on the systems even when the Wireless card is turned off. I have removed all preferred SSIDs and still nothing. Any one know how to kill this out of a Win XP system.
