That's a function of both tx and rec. power. I'd suggest that you just put some higher gain antennas in if you need more range. Or use more AP's (often a good choice for an indoor system as it allows for more users as well). Having said all of that, Readylink (used to be Compex) makes a 1 watt radio card. I've tried them in some MT ap's and they seem to work ok. I normally turn them down to 15 to 17 dB though.
