These Coordinators will help identify WISPs in each state and invite them to participate on the [email protected] listservs. This person can also begin thinking about having a meeting in your state and invite all WISPs to attend and build relationships. When I did this in 2008 in Indiana, I identified 50-60 WISPs at that time in the state. We ended up having two meetings which greatly enhanced the cooperative spirit amongst our closest peers. It would be beneficial to WISPA and our industry if we can get a volunteer to lead each state. I need some help identifying State Broadband Mapping url's, State Broadband Coordinator Contact email addresses and other items that will assist the membership with local/state politics.
