You'd be surprised what Google Earth can do. There are lots of websites and utilities for converting user information into kmz files for googleearth.
Anything that can save to an image file (Jpeg, tif, png, etc..) or a PDF can be printed out with someone's large printer, so the software doesn't have to support a particular printing system.
