The concrete in question is actually a landing strip so is plenty strong/thick enough. As we would normally cement in the rods that the tower is mounted onto, I need to know how it would be done when the concrete is already there. Anyone doing this or is it just not the way to go?

As well if they are belled out. I’m all for saving a bunch of bucks but gotta make sure you stay within specs for the new tower. Also, bolting onto the old foundation, go deep! We have only ever installed a tower by digging fresh foundations and was wondering if anyone knows of an acceptable techniche for mounting directly onto existing foundations or if this is just not a very good idea at all.
