The position is part-time, on call. Free Residential Basic Internet service if you live in our coverage area after 90 days. All work is in Pacific County, WA. 1. Conduct initial site servey to determine if location qualifies for service. 2. Go over options (rate plans and speeds) with prospect and sign them up for service. 3. Assist clients as needed in installation of equipment. 4. Verify service is working to client expectations. 5. Provide on-site training. 6. Provide field support and go out on service calls as required. Tools: Must have basic hand tools and a laptop computer. Job Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Experience 1. At least one years experience installing CAT5E Ethernet cable and RJ-45 connectors. 2. Basic knowledge of setting up a DSL Modem or wireless router for a SOHO network. 3. Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to follow through assigned tasks. 4. Good verbal and written communications skills. Ability to read blueprints is a plus. 5. High School Diploma 6. Basic demonstrated knowledge of networking. 7. Must be able to lift 30 lbs and have the ability to climb a ladder. 8. Visual Ability: Visual accommodation is necessary to read blueprints and computer screens. 9. Hearing Ability: Must be able to make and receive phone calls. 10. Working Conditions: May be subjected to high noise levels, physical exposure to moving machinery and exposure to fumes, dusts and mists. 11. Will act as liaison between customer and ISP. 12. Will have minimal supervision reporting only unusual circumstances to area supervisor. 13. Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision. 14. Must exibit a high degree of good interpersonal skills. .Location: Long Beach, WA .Compensation: $10.00 per hour starting.
