Subject: [WISPA] Fiber Media Converter

What is everyone using for a fiber media converter? Have been testing
this unit in the network room:

One thing I have seen is the auto negotiation on the copper 1000BASE-T
connection can occasionally go into endless cycles with some gear.
You can generate the error by rapid unplugging the ethernet and then
plugging it back in. Causes both ends of the link to drop copper
ethernet link which I guess it should. Seems if you unplug for 30
seconds or so before restoring it things seem to go better. Never
seems to act up on a switch so I wander if its the other gear at
fault.

Is this just kind of a typical thing on units like this or are there
better media converters?
