We're having lots of Skywalker cable prematurely fail due to UV exposure. We
have been purchasing SKY31855 "Cat5e Direct Burial 8-conductor wire, Black,
1000ft" which has been labeled and sold as UV resistant cable, but apparently
this was a "typo," and the cable is not actually UV resistant. We purchased
the direct burial cable so we could have a single cable that was used above or
in-ground; seems totally bizarre to have a direct burial cable that isn't UV
protected? I've never even heard of that before, it has to come out of the
ground eventually - and it will be exposed to the elements then?

Anyhow, wanting to know if anyone else has used the SKY31855 cable and what
your experience has been? Thanks in advance.
