We currently have two systems in place. Our primary system is Ipswitch's What's up for SMS, and phone notifications. As a backup system we also use Cacti and the threshold plugin which just uses email notifications, but is mainly used for SNMP graphs for ourselves and clients.
The benefit of Cacti is that we get notifications for Line errors and not just line down situations. Sincerely, Eric Tykwinski TrueNet, Inc.
